5 Affordable Ethical Dresses for The Minimalist

Looking to put into your closet a new ethical dress? We curated a list of inexpensive sturdy dresses that are ideal for the minimalist wardrobe. Any of these clothing here is less than $100, and they’re made from eco friendly materials. These are generally solid colours to quickly apply to a capsule wardrobe, but you can also find some neutral prints. We love versatile skirts, which can be dressed or dressed comfortably, depending on where you go.

And before I get into this article… Something I gotta get off my mind.

I got this Pinterest comment:

“None of these actually are “affordable” €128 for a dress I can purchase for $25″

I’m sure any of you read this may say the same thing… BUT if you spend $25 for a dress, just remember that someone’s being exploited – and inexpensive things (such as a quick fashion dress in Target) just keep up inequality. If you want to insure that the farmer and the maker get a reasonable wage, just $25 for a dress is unheard of. It’s not possible! $40 would be the least costly thing you could find in an ethical brand, and that would be quite simple. The thing is, if you can’t spend $128 on a quality ethical dress which lasts years and years, you can buy a dress which is seconed-hand. Don’t go to a short fashion store or Target because you want to spend less. Fashion shouldn’t be cheap! There are people behind your outfits, and they deserve to pay a decent salary for their jobs <3
